The Shoe Company and Town Shoes want you to be completely delighted with your purchase. If you are not 100% satisfied for any reason, you may return the item(s) for a full refund or exchange. Here's how.
Return Policy
Your unworn items may be refunded or exchanged by mail or in store, within 14 days of item delivery (with the exception of holiday gift purchases).

All returned/exchanged items must be returned in their original packaging along with the invoice (e-receipt) which is emailed to you at time of shipment confirmation.

Please Note: The packing slip included with your delivery is not your invoice and will not reflect any discounts applied, or payment method details. These invoice details are needed to process your refund. If you have misplaced or deleted the original email you may obtain a new copy of your invoice simply log into your account; select and print order information as needed.

Refunds will be applied to the card on which you made the online purchase and will appear in the form of a credit. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for these changes to appear on your card statement. A store credit will be issued for returns made after 14 days. Items must be returned in their original packaging along with the invoice.

Refunds are processed to include the amount you paid for the item(s) along with any sales tax which was charged at time of purchase. Shipping fees cannot be reimbursed, however if your item is defective or any mistake has been made on your order resulting in your dissatisfaction, we will be happy to arrange & cover the cost of return shipping.
In Store Returns/Exchanges
Visit any The Shoe Company location nationwide, to instantly refund or exchange any item purchased on our website. No re-packaging, no processing time and no return shipment arrangements required! Our associates are happy to help you find a suitable alternative to the item originally purchased, or to process a full refund – whichever you prefer.
Returns by Mail
Where your order is found to be defective in any way, we are happy to cover the cost of return shipping. To make return-by-mail arrangements in this circumstance, please contact customer service by email at onlineorder@theshoecompany.com or by phone at 1-88-88-SHOECO (1-888-874-6326) from 9:00am-5:00pm EST Monday to Friday. We will provide you with a pre-paid UPS return label to affix to the package along with instructions to contact UPS to make pick-up arrangements.

Otherwise, for returns under any other circumstance, please send unworn merchandise in its original box with your order invoice (included in package) to:

Please ship with the courier of your choice; we do not accept C.O.D.'s. Your purchase (less any shipping charges) will be refunded to your card within 1 business day of receipt.
